For 7 days following procedure:
It is crucial that these instructions are followed precisely. Failing to do so may result in pigment color loss.
Days 1-3: Brows will appear very dark and bold.
Days 3-10: Brows will begin to harden and start flaking off. Some clients have the brows flake in small pieces, while others have them flake in larger pieces. It is essential to not pick or peel during the healing process. Doing so will pull out the pigment, leaving behind a pink trauma patch that will need to be later corrected.
Days 10-28: Once brows have completely peeled, they will be extremely light in color. Some areas of the brow will look as though there is no pigment left. This is completely normal and a necessary stage in the healing process.
Days 28-42: Pigment will begin to resurface, and the color will return to your brows. Please keep in mind that the brows will be 30-40% lighter than they started, as Microblading is a 2-step process. Your touchup appointment will be used to perfect the brows.
*PLEASE NOTE: These timeframes are estimates. Each client heals differently, and may move through the healing process at a slower or more rapid pace than other clients.
